Steps

Rinsed the lentils and soak for a minute. Gather all the ingredients.

Saute onions, carrots and potatoes in an oil.

Now add garlic paste, all spices, lentils, chicken broth, water and cook them till they become fully tender.

Close the stove and wait for 5 minutes or till it cools down. After that, blend them in a blender.

Pour the puree in a pot again, add lemon juice and stir it well. Simmer it for 5 minutes or it reaches at your desire consistency.

Serve it hot in a bowl and sprinkles dry mint pwd.
