Cooking Instructions

Rinse the chickens and remove excess fat then pat dry

In a shallow bowl combine eggs and water and beat well. In another shallow bowl combine matzo meal, salt and pepper. Dip chicken in egg mixture then roll in the matzo meal

Heat oil in a 10 inch skillet over a medium flame. Place coated chicken in hot oil and brown on both sides, approximately five minutes per side

Remove chicken to a Dutch oven or covered roasting pan
- 5
In a small bowl combine hot water, honey and orange juice.

Pour over chicken and cover.

Simmer slowly on stovetop or place in preheated 325°F oven for 45 minutes or until tender

I saw a fabulous steak sandwich recipe from youtube. The original one using skirt meat, and sun dried tomato mayonnaise, but since I have romaine lettuce left over and some tomatoes that urgently need to be cooked, and KFC chicken breast that bought by my hubby. So, voila!! I usually make this with 1kg of chicken breasts, but they disappear in no time My husband loves them. My children love them too, and they seem to enjoy making them too, sandwiching the fillings inside, coating the chicken, and so on.If you carefully deep-fry the chicken in relatively cool oil, the chicken will turn out nice and juicy! The shiso leaves gives these a refreshing taste, and you won't get heartburn (haha).
