Ingredients

  • 3/4 teaspoondried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/8 teaspoonground black pepper
  • 1 1/4 poundsskinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tablespoonand 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 3 tablespoonfresh lemon juice
  • 2 clovesgarlic minced
  • 3/4 teaspoonchicken bouillon granules
  • 3/4 teaspoonschopped fresh parsley

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl mix the regular, salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Rub the mixture into the chicken.

  3. 3

    Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken in the butter for 3 to 5 minutes on each side

  4. 4

    Place the chicken in a slow cooker

  5. 5

    In the same skillet as you melted the butter, mix the water, lemon juice, garlic, and the Bullion Granules.

  6. 6

    Bring the mixture to a boil then pour over the chicken in the slow cooker

  7. 7

    Cover and cook on high for three hours or low for six hours.

  8. 8

    Add the parsley to the cooker 15 to 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time
