Boil green peas. Peel andd boil purple yam and grate. Mash boil potatoes.

Heat oil in a pan crackle cumin seeds. Add chopped green chili and onion slice saute till looks transparent. Add asafoetida grated ginger Salt turmeric powder garam masala and mashed potatoes mix well. Add coriander and turn off flame. Let it cool.

Crush boiled green peas. Heat oil adds Cumin seeds crackle asafoetida green coriander chutney and crushed green peas sugar chaat masala salt n lemon juice. Saute for 2-3mins. Mix well. Stuffing is ready.

Take a grated purple yam in a bowl add salt curd garam masala chaat masala mix well.

Now take baking tin grease oil n spread the potatoes mixture. gently spress with palm. Now spread green peas mixture. Now spread purple yam mixture and press evenly.

For tadka:- Heat oil adds mustard seeds crackle adds asafoetida round red chili n curry leaves. N spread on a mixture. Preheat oven for 10min. N bake 15-20 on 180* temp. Tasty delicious Kand sandwich Handva is ready to serve. Serve with achaar masala n green chutney.
