Steps
- 1
Remove the seeds from the pickled plums, and mince with a knife to a paste.
- 2
Cut the stems off the shiso leaves. Cut the baby cheese vertically into 8 pieces.
- 3
Season both sides of the pork with salt and pepper. Spread out the meat, place the shiso leaves on top, spread the pickled plum paste from Step 1 on top, add in the cheese on top of that, and roll it up.
- 4
Lightly coat the rolled pork in flour. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, and cook the pork rolls (Lower the heat to not burn them).
- 5
Arrange on plates once it has thoroughly cooked through. Quickly wipe the frying pan clean with a paper towel.
- 6
Add butter and ponzu sauce to the frying pan, let the butter melt, and top the pork rolls with the dressing; then it is done.
