  1. 1 cupbesan/ Gram flour
  2. 1 1/1 cup milk
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1/4 cupghee
  5. 1 tspcardomom powder
  6. as neededChopped nuts for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    Keep milk with sugar for boiling at one side

    Heat ghee and add besan to it.

  3. 3

    Mix well and heat till besan turns light brown and aromatic. Add cardomom powder and mix.

    Till now the mill has come to boil. Slowly add milk in batches and simultaneously stir the halwa to avoid lumps.

    Mix quickly and well so that there are no lumps and the halwa will start to leave the pan.

  6. 6

    Fold in chopped nuts and serve hot.
