Preheat oven to 180°C.

Heat oil in a pan and fry sausages till brown all over. Transfer to casserole dish.

In the same pan, melt butter and cook mushrooms slightly, stir in tomatoes, sage, stock cube, water and seasoning. Bring to boil and pour over sausages.

Put flour in a bowl and rub in marg till it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in herbs and enough milk to make soft dough.

Roll out dough and cut out rounds using a scone cutter. Arrange over sausages. Sprinkle over cheese.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
