A Rosy Betel day !

Rose Sandesh

This is the best combination that came up in my mind as the rose represents love and one of the historical symbolism for paan is delight and appreciation. Betel leaf was used in garland by Goddess Sita for Lord Hanuman when he reached Lanka.

We women are known to spread love and delight wherever we go. Thus this Rose Sandesh delicacy is my little dedication to Shilpi Tandon, Madhumita Bishnu, Neha Dua and rather all the women out there not only on cookpad but the world and it's time to celebrate one dedicated day to us !

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

I made chenna at home. You may use ready made paneer. I took 1 ltr full cream milk, boiled it and switched off the gas. Add in 1 lemon juice mixed with water to curdle it. As the green whey appears, sieve the chenna in a muslin cloth and wash it with water. Squeeze the excess water and keep it hanging for 15 mins.

Take out the paste and shape it with the help of round cutter. In the center give a small hole like donuts.
