Steps
- 1
In a bowl, combine the semolina, yogurt, melted ghee, and vanilla. Gently mix until well combined.
- 2
Let the mixture rest in a warm place for 6 hours.
- 3
Spread the mixture evenly in a small baking pan so it is about 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick. Cut into your desired shapes.
- 4
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C), top and bottom heat. Bake for 30 minutes.
- 5
To make the syrup, combine the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. When it starts to boil, add the lemon juice and let it boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 6
Garnish the pan with nuts. After baking, pour the cooled syrup over the hot namoura and let it cool completely.
- 7
Enjoy!
