Ingredients

  • 200grmDried Bombay Duck,(bummalo, bombil, boomla)
  • 4Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 5Green chilli
  • 8Garlic pearls (crushed)
  • 5-6 Curry leaves handful
  • 1 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1Tomato (deseed and finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala
  • 4 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut Bombay duck into finger length, soak it in water for 30 min

  2. 2

    Tap the pieces with the crushing stone and make it flat

  3. 3

    Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, mix well and keep for 20 min

  4. 4

    Keep a pan, add 3tbs oil, and fry the flat pieces until golden brown and keep

  5. 5

    Now add remaning oil, add onion, fry until golden brown, now add the other ingredients and fry until good aroma comes

  6. 6

    Now add 1/4 cup water, cover and cook in a low flame until become thick

  7. 7

    Add garam masala stir few min and serve hot with lemon rice or dal rice
