Heat a medium frying pan over a low heat. Add the coconut, jaggery, cardamom and fry for 8 minutes. Now add the raisins/ dry fruits and mix well Turn the heat off and let it cool down.

In a large bowl add the flour, butter and salt. First make crumbly mixture then Add water a little at a time to form semi hard dough. Cover and leave to rest for 10 minutes. 6. I have used beetroot juice to make 2nd color and made small flowers 🌸 to add holi touch.(you can skip this)

Now divide the dough into small balls roll out and Add a tablespoon of the stuffing to the half closer to you. Brush the edges with milk and fold over the upper half press lightly and seal well. Use a fork to crimp the edges and trim.

Now on the baking tray put Karanji and with help of brush apply milk on the Karanji and stick flower on it. Now again apply milk on top. Bake it for 10-15 mins at 180 degree temperature
