Today I made Cabbage Manchurian, which everyone in my family loves. I think you’ll enjoy it too—it turned out very tasty! Let me know how yours turns out.
Steps
- 1
First, grate or finely chop the cabbage. Squeeze out all the water from the cabbage. Add cornstarch, flour, and salt, and mix well. Shape the mixture into small balls. Fry the balls in oil until golden brown.
- 2
To make the gravy, heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic, then add onions and sauté lightly. Add bell peppers and green garlic, and cook briefly.
- 3
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Add this to the gravy and mix well. Add all the spices and sauces, and mix thoroughly. Let the sauce thicken and dry out a bit. Add the fried balls and mix well. Garnish with chopped cilantro. Your tasty Manchurian is ready to serve.
