Steamed Bread Made in Parchment Paper

I really overslept, and... I needed one more item to serve for breakfast! I didn't have anything in particular, so I tried making this. My kids happily ate these.
Adding an egg yolk will increase the flavor and make it more tasty. Add it in Step 1 if you are going to use it. The bread will harden if you microwave it for too long, so take care. I think 2 minutes could even be too long depending on the microwave. Recipe by Tsukushigumi

Steps
- 1
Combine the pancake mix with the milk, syrup, (and egg yolk, if adding), and beat with an egg beater.
- 2
Place a square sheet of parchment paper in a gratin dish, pour in 1/3 of the batter (about a ladleful), sprinkle in raisins (if you like), and wrap in parchment paper. (Refer to Step 10).
- 3
Microwave each one for 2 minutes, and it is done! (It will be ready in about 1 minute 10 seconds if you cook it at 1000 W!)
- 4
I topped them with stewed sweet potatoes. So tasty.
- 5
I used instant coffee and chocolate chips to make my daughter's favorite cafe mocha steamed bread.
- 6
I forgot to take a picture, but when I mixed syrup into user "Rinrin"'s matcha bread to make a marble pattern, it was tasty!
- 7
I mixed powdered cheese into the batter, and added little bits of processed cheese. Yum.

Attention!! This is something I heard from user "Mei". For a trick on reheating steamed bread, see Step 9.

: Use a plastic storage container similar to a ziplock storage bag, make it in a Kureha microwave, on the "steamed vegetable" setting. This microwave has such a function, but adding a small amount of water to the container and microwaving for 1 minute will produce piping hot and soft steamed bread. - 10
[Tip for wrapping the parchment paper] Using a square sheet of parchment paper, first, bring one of the corners of the front edge to the opposite corner of the back edges together, then fold them two-three times. Then, roll up both ends like a candy wrapper.
