Spaghetti alla puttanesca
When cherry tomatoes are ripe, they always make a great sauce.
Steps
- 1
Sauté the olive oil with red pepper flakes, a few anchovy fillets, and a lightly crushed garlic clove. Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil for the pasta.
- 2
After a short while, add the capers and black olives.
- 3
Next, add the cherry tomatoes and let everything cook together for flavor. When the water is boiling, add the spaghetti.
- 4
When the tomatoes start to soften, add some pasta cooking water so everything cooks together and forms a creamy sauce.
- 5
Remove the garlic. When the spaghetti is halfway cooked, transfer it from the pot to the pan to finish cooking, stirring frequently. Taste for salt, wait until the pasta is done, and add salt if needed.
- 6
Plate as you like and enjoy!
