While the water for the pasta is coming to a boil, prepare the sauce.

Clean the mushrooms and slice them.

Sauté the garlic in olive oil in a skillet, then add the mushrooms.

Once the mushrooms are browned, pour in the white wine. When the wine has evaporated, season with salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.

When the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the mushrooms. Add the cream and toss everything together over heat until the sauce thickens slightly and everything is well combined. Remove the garlic if you prefer.

Serve right away, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
