Thandai is an Indian cold drink prepared with a mixture of Dry fruits,fennel seeds,watermelon kernels ,rose petals,pepper,poppy seeds,cardamom,saffron,milk and sugar.
It is native to India and is often associated with Holi and Maha shivaratri festival.it is most commonly consumed in north India.There are variants of Thandai and the most common are badam thandai and bhaang thandai. So without wasting any time let’s head to the kitchen and prepare thandai masala for coming holi and enjoy it with colorful environment.

Heat a pan for 2-3 minutes on high heat and then turn off the heat.
Add all the ingredients to the warm pan except nutmeg and cinnamon powder.
Mix them and leave them in the pan for 5 minute.
Let them cool off and then dry grind them in a grinder. - 2
Grind them little coarse or fine as per your preference.
Store this thandai masala in air tight container in refrigerator. - 3
For instant thandai add thandai masala,sugar,milk and ice,blend them together pour in a glass and enjoy your thandai.
