Mawa Gujiya

Gujiya is a traditional sweet dish made on Holi in Northern India.
Steps

Take mawa in a pan roast it. Add desiccated coconut powder, cashews n almonds. Mix it properly. Now add sugar powder to it mix and let it cool- while adding sugar switch off the flame.

Mix nicely and take it out in a bowl and keep it aside. Take maida in a bowl add ghee to it. Knead it with water and keep it aside for 1hour.

Now take the dough and make small balls out of it. With the help of a rolling pin make small round shape like a puri. Fill the mawa mixture in it and seal it.

Now in a Kadhai take oil or ghee and heat it. Once hot fry gujiya on slow flame till it gets nice golden color. Enjoy with your family and friends.
