Ingredients

  1. Ingredients For pav
  2. 1.5 cupflour
  3. 3/4 tbsyeast
  4. 3/4 cupmilk
  5. 1 tspsugar
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 1 tbsbutter
  8. For vada
  9. 4medium size mashed potatoes (without skin boiled)
  10. 1/2 tspGinger garlic paste
  11. 1/2 tsphaldee
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  14. 1 cupbesan
  15. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  16. 1/3 tsphaldee
  17. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  18. For green chuteny
  19. 6-8green chilli medium size
  20. 1/2 cupcoriander leaves
  21. 1/4 cupmint leaves
  22. 1/2 tspcumin
  23. 2-3 clovesgarlic
  24. Salt to taste

Steps

    In a bowl add milk, sugar, yeast mix it and rest it for 5 minutes... Now seive flour and add now kned it until dough formed... Now add butter and again knead it for 2 minutes.. Now grease a bowl with oil then place dough and let it rest for 1 hour until its double in size...Now after 1 hour punch dough with hand and knead it again for 1 minute and make a 6 same size smooth small balls from dough...

    In a blender add green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, cumin, garlic cloves, salt and a little water in it. then blend it... Green chuteny is ready....

    Now grease baking pan with oil and place dough ball and let it rest for 15 minutes... After 15 min bake it in pre heated pot for 35 minutes... (pre heat pot for 15 minutes)... Now after 35 minutes take out baking pan from pot and brush butter on top and let it rest for 15 minutes... Now pav is ready....

    Now in a pan add oil, salt, haldee, green chilli paste, ginger garlic paste abd cook it for 2 minutes of medium flame then add mashed potatoes and mix it very well and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes then turn off flame and let it on room temperature... Now make a small.... Then in a bowl add besan, salt, red chilli powder, haldee powder, baking soda. Mix it then gradually add water to make a smooth batter...

    Now in a wok heat oil on medium to high flame.. Then take potatoes balls dip it in batter and fry it until golden in color...Now take pav cut from the center. Then spread some green chuteny and then vada and top it from other side of pav... Now our vada pav is ready....
