Metkut is one of the traditional recipe of Maharashtra. It is simple, comfort,very healthy food preparers in Maharashtrian households. It is consumed with a loads of ghee and rice. It taste awesome.

Metkut is one of the traditional recipe of Maharashtra. It is simple, comfort,very healthy food preparers in Maharashtrian households. It is consumed with a loads of ghee and rice. It taste awesome.
Steps

Heat the kadhai on medium flame and dry roast all the above ingredients separately. Stir continuously for even roasting. Roast it till it becomes aromatic.

I used roasted chana dal. So no need to roast it. You can take chana dal and dry roast well.

Keep aside all roasted ingredients and let it cool down.

Now add all above ingredients and grind it to fine powder.

Sieve the powder and again grind the coarse one which is left in sieve. Repeat the same process if required.

Metkut is ready. Store it in air tight container. Sprinkle the powder over hot rice and ghee. It taste good when mix with curd.
