Steps

Wash and soak chana whole night. In the next morning, add the soaked chana into a cooker, add water and some salt. Close the lid, allow to cook.

Roughly cut the onions and tomatoes.

Heat a pan. Add 1 tsp oil. Add cinnamon, onion, tomato, cashews, ginger and garlic. Saute them for 2 minutes.

Switch off the flame. And let it cool. Grind them to a fine paste. Again heat a pan and add 1 tsp oil. Add the whole garam masalas, saute them

Add the ground paste

Add the cooked chana with the water

Add salt as per taste. Allow to book them. Once combined together add coriander leaves and kasoori methi.

Tasty chana masala is ready. Serve with poori or chappathi
