Soak whole green moong dal overnight.

Grind the soaked dal with two tsp water and a pinch of asofoetida.

Make a thin batter and add a half tsp baking powder,salt as per taste,finely cut curry leaves and green chilli and onion.

In a non-stick pan,spread a ladle full of batter and spread it in shape of pancake.

Cover it with lid and let it cook in steam for one minute.Then flip it and let the other side cook.Healthy oil free low glycemic index pancakes are ready to eat.
