Instant Jhalmuri

Jhalmuri is a popular street food in eastern province of India made from Bhel/Puffed Rice. Growing up in Odisha, I have had different variations of this dish. It is also quite popular in Bengal. Jhal means spicy and Muri means Bhel/Puffed Rice.
Here, I present an instant easy peasy version of Jhalmuri that is totally healthy.

Steps
- 1
Roast bhel/puffed rice. This is optional. I like it this way as it makes them more crisp.
- 2
In a separate bowl, add chopped onions and tomatoes. You can also add other vegetables of your choice like cucumber, carrot, etc.
- 3
Add pepper powder, chat powder, and chilli powder to this bowl. Mix well.
- 4
Now add salt to it. Add the roasted bhel/puffed rice to it. Mix again. Now add sev to this.
- 5
Mix well again. Garnish this with chopped coriander leaves and add a squeeze of lemon to it.
