Easy Warming Turnip and Soy Milk Soup

I wanted to make something simple and warming with turnip, and thought soup might be best.
Kids also enjoy this, but they may prefer dairy milk to soy milk. To fully enjoy the taste of the turnip, you might not want to use any garnish, but it's nice with dried herbs such as parsley or carrot leaves.
You could also sprinkle in some Parmesan cheese before serving. Recipe by Jikana

Steps
- 1
Peel the turnip and slice into 8 pieces. Put them in a saucepan, add the water and soup stock, and simmer until tender over medium heat.
- 2
When tender, let it cool down before blending it with the tofu in a blender. (Make sure you let it cool down first; otherwise it can be dangerous.)
- 3
Return the blended turnip and tofu to the saucepan and add the soy milk. Heat it just enough to warm, but don't let it boil. Season with salt, and it's done.
