-I thought up a different way to enjoy tuna sashimi using ingredients that can be found in any household.Since the flavor is simple and easy to eat, even the elderly or guests will enjoy this dish.-Basically, don't overcook it. The point is not to cook the sashimi, but to brown the sesame seeds.-You could also add your choice of vegetables, such as sprouts or radish sprouts.-The fragrance and savoriness of the sesame seeds are a simple touch to increase the richness of the fish. Seared Ahi Tuna Steak with Japanese Tataki Sauce | Tuna Tataki Seared Ahi Tuna Steak with Japanese Tataki Sauce | Tuna Tataki
Tataki is Japanese cooking which takes raw meat or fish and sear in a pan to form a thin cooked layer of meat on the outside and raw still inside. In order to make tuna tataki, you will need to use sashimi-grade tuna preferably ahi or yellowfin. Then, you will sear the fish between 10 to 30 seconds. How long to sear the tuna will depend on its thickness. After you sear the tuna and let it cool, you will drizzle citrus-based sauce, which tataki sauce, on the top and serve. youtu.be/6XfgAMoe_Gs Julie - Mrs. Lin's Kitchen -

Seared Tuna with Onion Sauce Seared Tuna with Onion Sauce
The garlic & butter fried sea bream that I had at a sushi restaurant was so impressive! It was a mix of Japanese style with a touch of Western style, so using that idea, I used a tuna block and turned it into something other than the normal sashimi, adding a touch of Western style, and it came out really delicious.Cook the tuna rare. If you cook it too much, it will become difficult to slice. Recipe by tink cookpad.japan
