Easy Curry Bread in a Bread Maker

Since I wanted to make an easy curry bread in a bread maker, I altered a recipe which required you to kneed the dough by hand.

It's also delicious if you add cheese in Step 4.
If you don't seal the seams completely, the filling will burst out when deep-frying.
When you wrap the curry, it sometimes oozes out of the bread. But if you use the curry from, it's so much easier to wrap up!! Recipe by Chugakusei kitchen

Ingredients

5 servings
  • Dough
  • 150 gramsBread flour
  • 4 gramsDry yeast
  • 90 mlWater
  • 3 gramsSalt
  • 10 gramsSugar
  • 10 gramsButter
  • Coating
  • 1Milk
  • 1Panko
  • 1■Oil for deep-frying
  • 1■Curry (I recommend frozen curry)

Steps

  1. 1

    Put all the dough ingredients in a bread maker, and start the "bread dough" course!! Wait until the 1st rising has finished.

  2. 2

    Remove the dough, divide into 5 portions, and roll into balls. Cover with a tightly wrung out kitchen towel, and let rest for 10 minutes.

    Roll out into oval shapes with a rolling pin, and put some of the curry paste on top. (I recommend using frozen curry!.

    Scatter cheese as well!

    Fold in half and pinch up the edges. Make sure to seal completely!

    Coat with milk and panko in that order.

    Let them rise (2nd rising) for 30 minutes at 35 - 40℃.

    Deep-fry at 180℃ until golden brown.
