Ingredients

  • For Misal Masala
  • 1/4 cupgrated Dry coconut
  • 1 tablespooncoriander seeds
  • 3clove
  • 1small stick cinnamon
  • 2-3dry Kashmiri chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoonsesame seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoonFennel seeds
  • 1/4 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 1tamalpatra
  • 1star anice
  • 1/4Fenugreek seeds
  • For Misal
  • 1/8 cupmoong
  • 1/8 cupkala chana
  • 1/8 cupdry geen peas
  • 4 tablespoonoil
  • 1 tablespoonginger and chillies paste
  • 2finely chopped tomatoes
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoonred chilli powder
  • as per taste Salt
  • as required Finely chopped coriander
  • 1 cupmix farsan
  • 6laddi pav

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the pan for preparing the masala, roast the coconut, sesame seeds and all the dried spices and allow it to cool.mix it in the mixture keep it aside

    Now heat the pressure cooker and add all beans  2 cups of water, salt, mix well and pressure cook it for 3 whistles

    Now heat the oil in the pan add ginger chillies paste and saute it.now add chopped tomatoes, add the misal masala, turmeric powder and little water and cook for 2-3 mins on medium flame

    Now add boiled beans,red chilli powder,salt as per taste,1 cup of water and cook for 2-3 minutes

    While serving, serve the misal in the serving bowl, add mixed farshan, and sprinkle coriander over it.serve it hot with laddi pav
