Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  2. 3yellow onion sliced
  3. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  4. 1 cupyogurt
  5. 1 tspcumin powder
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tspred chili powder
  9. 1/2 tspsalt
  10. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  11. For Meatballs
  12. 500 gbeef mince
  13. 2 tbspgrinded onion paste
  14. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  15. 3 tbspyogurt
  16. 1 tspgaram masala
  17. 1 tspred chili powder
  18. 1 tspcoriander powder
  19. 1 tspcumin powder
  20. 1 tspsalt
  21. 2 tbspgram flour roasted
  22. 2green chilies chopped
  23. 2 tbspcoriander chopped

    Mix all the meatball ingredients together. Make golf ball sized meatballs and keep aside.

    In the pot fry the ginger garlic paste. Add more oil if required. Then add the onion paste, yogurt, salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and turmeric.

    Cook this masala till the oil separates. Then add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil on medium high heat.

    Lower the heat and add the meatballs very carefully into the curry. Cover the pot and cook for 15-20 mins on low heat. Don’t use the spoon for mixing the meatballs or they could break. Just shake your pot 2-3 times to flip them so that they cook evenly.

  5. 5

    Turn off the heat when the oil comes on top, sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander and sliced green chilies.
