Ingredients

  • 1 cupRed lentils/Masoor dal
  • 3/4 cupWalnuts, chopped
  • 4 pcsPotatoes, boiled & grated
  • 1 cupCottage cheese/Paneer, grated
  • 1/2 cupOnion,finely chopped
  • As requiredGreen chillies,finely chopped
  • 1/4 cupMint leaves,chopped
  • 1 tspGarlic powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 1 tspChat masala
  • as per tasteSalt,
  • Forcoating:
  • 4 tbsCornflour
  • 1 cupBread crumbs
  • 1 cupWater
  • For frying:
  • as requiredRefined oil

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

    Pressure cook split red lentil along with water & salt till soft. Cool down, grind into a paste.

    Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl.

    Mix well.

    Now shape it as desired.

    Make cornflour slurry by adding cornflour & water, dip in it & roll on bread crumbs.

    Deep frying in oil on medium-high flame or refrigerate for up to 10 days for frying later.

    Serve with a dip of your choice.
