For paneer tikka:
Strain curd for 10 minutes to remove excess water. Transfer curd to deep utensil, now add all ingredients (except vegetables & paneer) mix well. Now add paneer & vegetables, mix gently. Keep aside to marinate for 30 minutes. - 2
For gravy:
Mix onion, tomatoes, cashew nuts and ½ cup of water in pan and cook on medium flame for 6-7 minutes. Let it cool completely.Add green chilies to cashew nuts mixture and grind to fine paste. - 3
Heat oil/butter/clarified butter in pan add bayleaf, saute for 30 seconds, now add ginger and garlic paste saute for 1 minute. Add paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, kasuri methi and salt mix well and cook for 1 minute.

Now heat butter on tawa & saute marinated paneer & vegetables from every side then add to gravy, cook for 5 minutes. Relish with naan or rice.
