Ingredients

  1. 500 gmchole(Kabuli chane)
  2. 2chopped onion
  3. 4-5chopped tomatoes
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 1grated ginger
  6. 2 teaspoonchole masala
  7. 3 tea spoondhaniya powder
  8. 2 tea spoonred chilli powder
  9. 1 tea spoonjeera powder
  10. 1 teaspoonhing
  11. as per tasteSalt
  12. 1 tea spoonKala namak
  13. 1 teaspoonKasuri methi
  14. as neededchopped coriander leaves
  15. 2 tablespoonghee
  16. 2 tea spoonsemi grinded saunf
  17. 2 tea spoonamchur powder
  18. 1 table spoonoil
  19. 2 teaspoongaram masala
  20. 2boiled potatoes

Cooking Instructions

    Soak Kabuli chane overnight with half teaspoon of baking soda

  2. 2

    Morning strain the water, wash it twice n thrice, take cooker put chane water, Amla or pomegranate chilka, salt and give whistle on high flame for 10 minutes and then on slow flame for 10-15 minutes

    Take kadai put oil, jeera, hing, chopped onion, grated ginger saute till golden brown, add golden brown potato

  4. 4

    Put chane, chopped tomatoes, green chillies, kala namak,dhaniya powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, jeera powder, amchur powder, garam masala, saunf, kasuri methi, chole masala and mix well

  5. 5

    Cover for 5 minutes and let it cook

  6. 6

    Now garnish with chopped green coriander leaves and hot ghee and cover for 5 minutes

  7. 7

    Dhaba style chole ready to eat with Parantha, kulche
