Ingredients

30 minutes
2 - 3 people
  1. Frozen kibbeh patties, any kind, prepared in advance (I recommend chicken kibbeh)
  2. 1 cupplain yogurt (about 240 ml)
  3. 1 containerplain yogurt (about 6 oz or 170 grams)
  4. 1 cupwater (about 240 ml) with 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in it
  5. Salt and black pepper to taste
  6. 1bouillon cube (chicken or vegetable)
  7. For the topping:
  8. 3-4garlic cloves
  9. Chopped cilantro
  10. 1little butter

    Fry the kibbeh patties in the amount you need.

  2. 2

    In a pot, combine the yogurt container, 1 cup of plain yogurt, and 1 cup of water with the dissolved cornstarch, along with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and the bouillon cube. Mix while cold.

  3. 3

    Place the pot over heat and stir constantly until the sauce thickens to your liking.

  4. 4

    Add the fried kibbeh to the yogurt sauce and let it cook for 1 minute, then turn off the heat.

  5. 5

    For the topping: Sauté 3 or 4 garlic cloves in a little butter until they start to change color, then add chopped cilantro and stir.

  6. 6

    Serve the kibbeh in yogurt sauce in a dish, top with the garlic-cilantro butter, and enjoy while hot!
