Tres Leches Cake

Cooking Instructions

Start by separating the egg whites from the yolks and preparing your ingredients (mise en place).

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color, then add a little sugar.

Once both mixtures are ready, gently fold them together and begin adding the flour.

Add the flour and mix until you have a smooth batter, then pour it into a baking pan. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30 to 40 minutes.

While the cake is baking, bring the three milks (sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and regular milk) to a boil to combine them well.

Once the cake is done, level the top with a serrated knife, then slowly pour the milk mixture over the center of the cake, letting it soak in gradually.

When the cake is fully soaked, decorate with whipped cream and top with peaches in syrup. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon if desired.
