Fluffy and Soft Stewed Hamburgers.

My husband criticized my hamburgers as too hard. I was a bit frustrated by this, so I decided to aim for the ultimate softness . It would be great if your husband gets excited like mine does now when he sees the hamburgers in his bento .
Shown in the photo is double portions for my bento stock . The sauce tastes really delicious on top of omurice.
It cooks through when stewing, so brown the patties on both sides in the oven to cook the burgers, and it'll result in soft burgers .

Steps
- 1
Finely chop the onions, and microwave at 500W for three minutes. Let cool still wrapped in plastic wrap.
- 2
Dry fry the flour in a pan. Cook until golden brown.
- 3
Mix the ○ panko, milk, and whisked eggs.
- 4
Place the ground meat, salt and pepper, and nutmeg into a bowl, and thoroughly knead until it all sticks together.
- 5
Add Steps 1 and 3 to 4, and knead for about 2 minutes.
- 6
It'll result in a sticky meat mixture like above.
- 7
Mold into desired portions sizes, and bake in an oven preheated to 360F/180C for about 10 minutes. Adjust according to your oven. You don't have to cook them through.
- 8
While frying the burgers from step 7, sauté the onions in butter in a deep pot.
- 9
Add the flour from step 2 to step 8 and blend together. Then, add ■ and whisk it all together.
- 10
Add □ to 9, bring it to a boil, add the meat patties from step 7, cover with a lid, and stew (low heat for 20 minutes).
- 11
The sauce is delicious, so ladle lots on top and enjoy ← The rest are post-script notes .
- 12
When baking in the oven, lots of scum will appear as shown above. The deliciousness is still firmly inside, so skim off the scum.
- 13
Season with okonomiyaki sauce. This brings out the richness and sweetness. If you don't have any, then increase the Worcestershire-style sauce by 1/2 tablespoon.
- 14
Eat the remaining sauce as omurice is seriously delicious.
