Sabudana / Tapioca / Sago is widely used during fasting / Vrat. As it is easily digested, light food to consume. Today I'm sharing a Curd Sago / Thayir Javarsi....it's a variation of normal curd Rice. In Tamil we call sago as Javarsi.

Sabudana / Tapioca / Sago is widely used during fasting / Vrat. As it is easily digested, light food to consume. Today I'm sharing a Curd Sago / Thayir Javarsi....it's a variation of normal curd Rice. In Tamil we call sago as Javarsi.
Steps

Wash and soak Sabudana in water for 8-9 hrs

Remove excess water after it is soaked well.

In a pan add oil, cumin let it splutter well add finely chopped ginger, green chillies, sabudana (soaked sago).

Mix well. It takes 3- 5 minutes to cook sago. Just stir in every 1/2 minute. Add 1/2 tsp of salt and asafoetida/ hing mix well. Once sago is cooked it becomes transparent/ translucent. Allow it to cool down completely.

Whisk curd, add milk mix well. Add 1/2 tsp of salt, cooked sago, Pomogranate, Corriader leaves and mix well. Curd Sago / Thayir Javarsi is ready to serve. Please do try and provide your comments.
