Red Apple Pulao

#boxweek14
Apples used in rice recipe by me for an awesome treat. This one is made by red apples. It is a little sweet and spicy both at the same time. The most important thing is to use leftover rice in this pulao and therefore put it to a best possible use. Try this simple and instant pulao for your loved ones to show you care.
Simple and absolutely delicious. It's a perfect meal for any day. Your loved ones will definitely love it.
Though I have used leftover rice in this, you can very well use freshly done rice. It comes very handy when there are time constraints and you are terribly busy.
You can just whip up this awesome looking rice dish in no time at all.
Enjoy cooking with Zee!

Steps
- 1
In a cooking pot, heat ghee. Add caraway seeds, bird chillies and ginger garlic paste.
- 2
Now add cumin powder and the sliced onions. Saute them until light brown. Also add the garam masala.
- 3
Next add the rest of the whole spices along with the finely chopped chillies. Saute all of that until lightly browned and done. And finally add the cored and cubed red apple pieces.
- 4
Saute all that well and simmer for 3 minutes on a low heat with a lid on. Adjust salt according to taste. Now add the cooked rice or the leftover rice. Stir until well combined.
- 5
Garnish with coriander leaves, toasted raisins, peanuts and pistachios. You can use any of your favourite nuts and can use leftover rice too for this recipe. Enjoy!
