Steps

Dry roast fennel seeds followed by raw peanuts.

Add in fresh or desiccated coconut and roast till aromatic

Put them all in a clean cloth and crush them with some heavy object like a rolling pin. Don’t crush in the grinder as we need it to be a little coarse.

Melt jaggery in a pan. Let it melt on a low flame.

Take wheat flour, Ghee, melted jaggery, Green cardamom, Desiccated coconut, fennel seeds in a bowl and knead well till it forms into the smooth dough but hard dough(and do not add water to knead the dough.), cover, and leave it for 15-20 minutes.

Roll the dough to a quarter-inch thick cut with a round cutter or make small balls and roll each as we do for making rotis. Make like small discs.

Heat up a nonstick pan. Place all the prepared small discs.

Let them cook on low flame.

Turn when one side is done and let it cook from the other side too.

Remove from the flame when it’s done. Enjoy it with evening tea.
