Quick & Easy Nasi Goreng

I love nasi goreng but it uses a lot of ingredients and seasoning, some of which are really hard to get hold of so I tried making this simplified version with ingredients that I already had.
The trick to this recipe is to add the shrimps in 2 batches. The first batch will give your dish a nice fragrance and the second batch will leave the rice with a delicious texture.
Please definitely try this with a half-set fried egg. It tastes amazing mixed with the rice.
I often use sweet chilli instead of chilli sauce because it gives the rice a deliciously sweet flavor. Recipe by rubi0314

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Thinly slice the onion and cut the bacon into thin strips. Grease the frying pan with a little oil and put it on high heat. Then add the mince meat, onion, bacon and half of the shrimps into the pan and stir-fry them. Season them with a little salt and pepper.
- 2
Once the onion has become translucent, add the rice and continue to stir-fry it. Once the rice and other ingredients are thoroughly mixed together, pour in the ★ ingredients and continue to mix and stir-fry.
- 3
Add the rest of the shrimps and combine them into the mixture well.
- 4
Add the rice to a bowl and top with a half-set fried egg to serve.
- 5
If you make this dish with fish sauce instead of soy sauce it will taste even more authentic For bento lunches I top the rice with a fully cooked fried egg.

Nasi Goreng Jawa (Javanese Fried Rice) Nasi Goreng Jawa (Javanese Fried Rice)
Another version of Indonesian fried rice! Some people call it Nasi Goreng Jawa aka Javanese Fried Rice because it’s originally from Java (one of the biggest islands in Indonesia). Some people call it Nasi Goreng Terasi aka Terasi (Shrimp Paste) Fried Rice because it uses ‘terasi’ as one of the ingredients. Whatever the name is, this simple yet delicious fried rice is at the top of the list!!! 😋😋😋 IG @jenscookingdiary @jenscookdineandtravel jenscookingdiary -

Village Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng Kampung) Village Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng Kampung)
“NASI GORENG KAMPUNG” is a typical kind of fried rice from the Riau Islands. It's also commonly found in Malaysia, because the people are still the same Malay family. It has simple spices mixed with candlenut and dried shrimp paste, so the aroma is sharp and distinctive --- it can certainly be tempting. This fried rice is tasty, especially with a sprinkling of fried anchovies that are so crunchy. It's also pretty hot and spicy, because it's sprinkled with sliced chili. Here is the recipe...
