Kebuli rice is often found in Jakarta. This dish sold by Arabian who have lived in Indonesia for many generations. This food is now legendary. And i tried to cook with my style, just simple and easy. Check it out ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Steps

In the pan, heat oil, saute ground spices until fragrant. Add coriander, cumin, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, lemongrass and cloves. Saute until fragrant.

Add chicken into the pan, stir. Add water and chicken powder, mix well. Cook until the chicken is tender. Remove the chicken and deep fry.

Heat the ghee, fry the rice for a while until it is well mixed. Add salt and pepper. Pour 750 ml of water from boiled chicken. Add fried chicken and mix well. Cook until the water is absorbed. Transfer the rice into hot pot and steam until cooked.

Serve kebuli rice with chicken, and pickled cucumber and carrot. (I didn't make the pickles🤭✌️)
