Since a kids I always got taught, try not to waste anything. So this has led me to make this mithai, from homemade ghee residue.

In a heated pan, put leftover ghee residue (ghee residue must not be dry it must be soft), salt, and mix, keep flame slow. Ghee comes from it. Add sugar, essence and mix well. Add milk powder and mix that also well.

Go on stirring intermittently. Keep flame slow. Add milk and mix.
Cook till the time you get a thick milk cake consistency.
Switch the flame off.
You can set it in a big tray too. But I have used silicon mold. So put the prepared mixture in the molds and keep it for setting. - 3
As it sets remove from the moulds and serve. You can garnish it with dry fruits/ vark.
They have a very nice flavour. This mithai is very easy to make and delicious too. - 4
