Egg Rolls with Air Fryer

If you love egg rolls but want to avoid greasy food, get yourself an air fryer! This dish takes some effort, so I usually make about 30 to 40 rolls at once and freeze them. Whenever you want to eat, just pop them in the air fryer for 20 minutes and you'll have golden, crispy egg rolls ready to enjoy.

Grind the pork with shrimp, onion, and garlic, then mix in 1 tablespoon fish sauce to season.

Finely chop the carrot, taro, and jicama, then mix with the ground pork and shrimp mixture. Add 1 tablespoon seasoning powder, a little sugar, and plenty of black pepper. Egg rolls taste best with lots of pepper.

Let the mixture sit for a bit to absorb the flavors, then roll with rice paper wrappers.

I make a large batch to freeze for later. When you want to eat, take them out and air fry. Brush a little oil on the egg rolls to make them look glossy, set the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 18 minutes. Adjust the time and temperature based on your air fryer's power.
