Pea Shoot and Shio-konbu Namul (Korean-style Salad)

There aren't many green winter vegetables, so I always use pea shoots, which are cheap and available all year round Pea shoots have a nice texture, but don't have that distinctive grassy smell that a lot of vegetables tend to have, so I tried using them in a simple shio-konbu namul.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 bagPea shoots
  2. 2 tbspShio-kombu
  3. 1/2 tbspSesame oil
  4. 1White sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut the pea shoots in half, soak in hot water for 30 seconds, then drain.

  2. 2

    Squeeze out the water by hand, then add the shio-konbu, sesame oil and sesame seeds to finish.
