In a plate add chopped nuts and 1 teaspoon of ghee and roast in microwave for 30 seconds. Set aside.

In a bowl add butter and powdered sugar and using a spatula or electric whisk beat until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour, ginger powder, desiccated coconut, cardamom powder and fennel powder. Mix well. - 3
Finally add in the roasted nuts and add 1 tablespoon of milk to bind the dough. Add more milk if necessary.

Make small balls and garnish with slivered nuts and saffron and press between palm. Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 15 to 18 minutes in a preheated oven at 160 C
Let it cool completely before serving to celebrate lord Krishna’s birthday. Enjoy 😉
