Veg Cutlet

Vegetable Cutlet also called as veg cutlet are crisp, savory, tender patties made with a mix of hearty veggies, savory spices, fresh herbs and crispy breadcrumbs. Cutlet recipe is a popular snack in Indian cuisine and there are so many ways to make them. These vegan vegetable cutlet are pan fried to keep them healthy, but as you prefer you can deep fry or shallow fry.

These vegan vegetable cutlet are pan fried to keep them healthy, but as you prefer you can deep fry or shallow fry.
Cooking Instructions

Take all the chopped Veggies and put it in a bowl and add water and steam the vegetables in a steamer for 5-8 minutes.

After steaming start by mashing the vegetables. Don't mash too much or else it will remove moisture which is not good.

Then add the masala and 1/4 cup powdered poha and coriander leaves in the minced veggies for the crisp from inside.

Mix all the Veggies nicely.
Then make the coating.
Add the rice flour and water in a bowl. Mix them so that there is a flowing consistency and the cutlets can be coated. And in another bowl add the poha. - 5
Start by making small and thin rounds of the mix

Then heat up a kadai and add the oil and heat it up.
Then add the veg cutlets by coating in the rice flour and then the poha fry until you get a light golden brown colour. - 7
After frying put them in a plate and dig in the dish is all yours
