Our Family's Genovese Sauce

I studied many recipes and settled on this.
The recipe calls for equal amounts of walnuts and pine nuts, but you can make it with walnuts only.

Grind the shredded basil, walnuts, pine nuts and garlic in a mortar until smooth.

When smooth, add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and it's done! If you are using a food processor, just put everything in and mix it!

You can use this sauce in a panko bread crumb and genovese sauce recipe.
