It's a healthy Middle Eastern Salad made with Arugula Leaves or Salad Garden or Rocket. These Leaves have a strong taste, therefore it requires very mild Seasoning.
Infact in Saudi Arabia, they don't even chop them. People just rinse it well to get rid of the dirt and serve them as it is with the ever popular dish Kabsah, Mandi, Faham Al Bukhari etc. Jarjeer is the Arabic name for these beautiful looking Leaves.
It can be served every day without any difficulty because it's the simplest of the Salads. Full of Greens that are high in Vitamins and Minerals. This is for sure a heat one among many Salad lovers. This goes well with every kind of Kababs and Barbecues. Perfect for an outing or a picnic too. The crunch of the Arugula leaves also called Rocket Salad leaves gives this Salad a unique texture. Lemon juice adds a zing of freshness to it. Stay healthy and eat healthy dear people.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
