. I made this cake for a dear friend on her birthday. The Jello recipe was inspired by Pastry Pleasures. It adds a beautiful tangy taste to complement the sweetness in the cake and whipped cream. #recipemarathon

Add fruit pulp without water to blender. Using pulse function separate seed from pulp.

Sieve and set aside.

Add water to gelatin and allow to bloom for 5 minutes.

Set a stainless steel pot on low heat, add passion juice and sugar. Bring it to a boil, stirring frequently.

Remove from heat, add bloomed gelatin. Stir then add fresh passion pulp from two passion fruits.

Pour in non reactive container and place in fridge for an hour or freezer for 20 mins to begin to set.

Ready for use on cake. Create a wall with whipped cream, pour some jello. Place second layer ontop.

Crumb coat the cake. Place in fridge to allow jello to set. Remove and decorate as desired.

Pour remaining jello. Place in fridge to set completely.
