Ingredients

  1. 14 ozmonkfish cheeks (about 400 g)
  2. 1leek
  3. 1onion
  4. 1carrot
  5. 2 tablespoonswhite wine (30 ml)
  6. 1/4 cupheavy cream (60 ml)
  7. 1 tablespooncornstarch (15 g)
  8. 1 cupwater (250 ml)
  9. Turmeric

  1. 1

    Thinly slice the vegetables.

    In a wok, sear the monkfish cheeks until browned, then set aside.

    Sauté the vegetables in the wok.

    Add the white wine and let it boil for 5 minutes.

    Add the water.

    In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, cornstarch, and turmeric.
    Pour the mixture into the wok, then add the monkfish cheeks to the sauce.

    Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
