Ma Lai Gao Made with Ingredients You Have on Hand

I love ma lai gao, but it's hard to get store-bought ones, so I came up with this while looking at various microwavable recipes.
It's also delicious when made with dark brown sugar.
Just add the ingredients in the order written.
If you don't have corn starch, you can use katakuriko.
If you add the raisins last and steam over medium heat, they won't sink.
The steaming time will vary depending on the size of marakao, so use a skewer to check that it's done! Recipe by Puru berry

French Bread Made with Ingredients On Hand French Bread Made with Ingredients On Hand
When I went to buy some French bread flour, it was sold out. So, since I couldn't do anything about it, I did my best and combined regular bread flour with cake flour! It doesn't look very nice, but it is definitely French bread.・ All Purpose flour is okay too.・ It's important to make sure the dough has risen completely in order for the bubbles to form. Also, cutting the slashes and getting the edges to stand up helps release excess moisture and creates a very bubbly finished product.・ This is just a basic recipe, so feel free to roll in herbs, sesame, cheese, etc. Recipe by itarunrun cookpad.japan -

Spring Rolls Made with Everyday Ingredients Spring Rolls Made with Everyday Ingredients
These delicious spring rolls don't contain too many ingredients, but they are nice and crunchy. When it's just me and my two daughters home for dinner, I don't cook any rice and I just make lots of these raw spring rolls. Since I always have a lot of different sauces on hand, we never get tired of the flavor. Plus we can take in lots of nutritious vegetables, so it's completely satisfying.Lettuce is more crispy and will tear through the spring roll skins. It's best to use a leafy lettuce such as red-leaf lettuce, bouquet lettuce, or pleated lettuce, but if you only have regular lettuce, blanch it quickly or slice into somewhat wide strips. This will give a nice crunchy texture when wrapped and eaten. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -
