Mughlai Chicken Handi (boneless)

Whenever we make any chicken dish, I ask for the whole separate breast, or sometimes get them cut into cubes. And after collecting enough boneless, I try something different with it every time. I saw this Mughlai Chicken Handi recipe somewhere and thought of giving it a try.. The only thing was that the chicken cubes were quite smaller than I wanted, but all is well when you have a great recipe in mind and it turns out well..
The whole game changes after you add the cashew paste.. The taste literally changes..
Everyone appreciated it and that's when I get satisfied.

Steps

In a big bowl add egg, ginger garlic paste, salt and pepper and give a whisk. Then add the chicken and mix well. Keep aside.

In a handi (clay pot) heat oil and add onion paste. Sauté till it changed colour. Then add the marinated chicken and sauté till it changes colour. Then add the spices.

Now mix well and cook for 2-3 mins. Add tomato paste and mix well. After 2-3 mins add the yogurt and mix well.

After 5-6 mins, add the cashew paste and mix it well. Cook till the oil separates on the top.

Garnish with slit green chillies and dry fenugreek, serve with roti/naan, salad/raita.
