I had some leftover meat sauce from last night, and I really wanted to eat zhajiangmian. (^^;;
So I tried this remake!

I don't have any hints for you! Use whatever meat sauce and miso you have at home. (*^^*) Please try to come up with your own homemade flavor! Recipe by Mi-topai mama

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1serving Meat Sauce
  2. 1 tbspMirin
  3. 2 tbspBlended miso
  4. 1/2 tbspSesame oil
  5. 1/2 tspGochujang
  6. 1to 2 Cucumber
  7. 4bunches Frozen udon noodles

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

I use this recipe for the meat sauce -.

  2. 2

Add miso, mirin, and sesame oil to the pot with the leftover meat sauce and mix.

  3. 3

Add gochujang if you like. We only use a bit to keep it kid-friendly.

  4. 4

Mix to keep it from burning, and it's complete.

  5. 5

Boil the udon. Slice the cucumber into thin strips.

  6. 6

And put it together. Garnish with white sesame.

  7. 7

If you like, you can garnish with chunky "eating ra-yu". It's also delicious.
